Maintaining a Healthy Well PDF Print E-mail

“Out of sight, out of mind” is rarely a good policy — especially when it comes to wells. The results of ignoring your precious water source can be costly and unpleasant — and can include diminished water quality and clarity, unpleasant odours, low yield and even damage to your well. Considering that preventative maintenance costs are generally only 10 to 20 per cent of the cost of constructing a new well, it pays to keep your well healthy and to make maintenance a part of your ongoing cottage routine.
